This single-lamp UV conveyor is positioned for partial curing or gelling between coating stages. APL describes it as a system for preparing a coating for the next process, rather than treating every application as a final full-cure stage.
The reference machine includes a UV lamp, blower and conveyor motor. The correct UV exposure depends on the coating and the condition required before the next layer, so line speed and lamp settings should be established for the intended process.
