Controlled foil handling for decorative finishing.
The APL Foiler is designed around the handling and transfer of decorative foil. Its published components include pneumatic unwind and rewind shafts, a heating roller, side guides and an optical paper sensor.
The machine includes a foil-saving arrangement. Discuss the substrate, foil type, image placement and upstream printing or coating process with APL to determine the appropriate finishing setup and the necessary registration and temperature controls.
